Ars Vitalis Presents Evening of Lowell Liebermann's Compositions
Ars Vitalis, part of the New Jersey New Music Forum at Kean University, is set to feature an exclusive concert dedicated to the works of composer Lowell Liebermann. This marks Liebermann's third performance in the series and the first event solely focused on his music. The concert will occur at Kean University's Enlow Recital Hall, with no admission fee required.
Matthew Halper, DMA, artistic director and music composition professor at Kean, praised Liebermann's music for its exceptional craftsmanship and emotional resonance, expressing enthusiasm for his return to the campus. The evening will showcase performances by notable artists, including Kean University Concert Artist Lisa Hansen on flute and distinguished alumni from the Mannes School of Music, where Liebermann serves as head of the composition department.
The program includes a selection of Liebermann's notable works, such as Sonata No.1 for Violoncello and Piano and Trio No.3 for violin, cello, and piano. The Enlow Recital Hall is located on Kean University's East Campus in Hillside, New Jersey.
